Eyelid Surgery Recovery

Most patients feel very little pain after this procedure however there may be some swelling and bruising in the eyelids. It is recommended that you keep your head in an upright position, avoid bending and apply an icepack on your eyelids after this procedure to decrease the swelling. The swelling and bruising can take a few weeks to settle but the majority of the swelling and bruising will settle within 10 - 14 days.

Mr Loo typically puts dissolving sutures in during this procedure so that there are no sutures to be removed, minimising post operative discomfort.

Regular follow up will be made with Mr Loo to ensure that you are healing well.
